What I Am

Music is a great tool for expression. The music artist takes you on a journey,a rollercoaster ride of feelings and emotion. Descartes said ‘Cogito Ergo Sum’ – ‘I think, therefore I am’. The musician thinks and then performs and his work, that all can hear, his art, becomes one with the audience. a Transferrance of energy occurs and the form of the art manifests itself in the feelings of those that listen. :::TRACKLISTING::: 1. Whitney Houston – Step By Step (Junior Vasquez Arena Anthem Mix)

Well – what can I say? It has been a tragic week for house music and if you love a bit of Whitney, like I do, you’ll be well disappointed at the diva’s untimely demise. Here is my favourtie Whitney track, a classic reworking of one of her big tunes from New York’s finest, Junior Vasquez. I first heard Jim Shaft Ryan drop this at the end of the night at Miss Moneypennys @ The Cross, London, back in the day. The track builds and builds and then as only she can, Whitney delivers an all powerful vocal. Whitney, you’ll be sorely missed. Rest In Peace. You can buy this track at Amazon here
